ECB / Wellink does not expect a strong increase in market interest rates – MNI

EZB-Foto_wellink FRANKFURT (Dow Jones) – The European central bank (ECB ) expects no sharp increase in rates in the European financial market in the fourth quarter , when the lion’s share of ECB credit is due to commercial banks .

"I would at this stage, no significant increase in market interest rates forecast , " Governing Council member Nout Wellink said in an interview published on Tuesday with the news agency Market News International ( MNI ).
