Kroes wants all Europeans to broadband in 2013

Neelie Kroes wants in her new job as EU Commissioner for Digital Agenda particularly work on the construction of fast internet across the European Union. The aim is that all Europeans have access to broadband by 2013.
Other priority Neelie Kroes is that Europeans can easily buy at foreign sites. Now, sometimes not because of problems with copyright. She wants to make the Internet safer, including on video games. She finally committed to additional support for ICT research and innovation.
Kroes will focus attention on the rates of cross-border mobile calls, SMS messages and mobile Internet, she says. (AFP / sam)
