FARNBOROUGH (Reuters ) – The U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing has pocketed at the Farnborough air show in Britain other jobs. The airline , Royal Jordanian has signed a contract for the appointment of three further machines of the type " 787 " , Boeing said on Tuesday mornings.
By list price , the order worth 500 million USD. Overall, the Royal Jordanian has thus a total of 11 aircraft of this type for the U.S. group commissioned .
The 787 Dreamliner is the response of the U.S. Group on the Airbus A380, the European group EADS. The Dreamliner is about half of flimsy material such as carbon fiber , the machine will be 20 % less energy than airplanes of comparable size.
Already on Monday, Boeing and EADS subsidiary Airbus had been several major orders in Farnborough known. Royal Jordanian Airlines is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization since 2007 and is a full member of the OneWorld alliance.
