"The Germans buy their presents increasingly on the Internet," said Deputy Chief Executive bvh Christopher Wenk-Fischer.
In the last two months of this year, the German shipper would be expected to 3.1 (achieved last year: 2.7) billion turnover of goods on the Internet, the association predicted. This corresponds to an increase in online retailing of around 15%.
